Dat is volgens Vandenborre slechts een kwestie van tijd. In een volgende fase zou de Solenco Powerbox niet enkel de woning van stroom en warmte kunnen voorzien, maar wordt het ook mogelijk om thuis de waterstofauto bij te tanken. What is a solenco Powerbox?
The Solenco Powerbox is a so-called µCHP (micro combined heat and power device) that supplies both electricity and heat. In most situations, the Powerbox alone will not provide sufficient heat output to heat up a building completely. That is why a connection with a heating system, eg a heat pump, is recommended.
How powerful is solenco vs Powerbox?
Solenco will be powerful to commercialize, since it has comparable cost to existing inferior solutions, and has the fastest return on investment (<3 years) of any storage solution on the market. Powerbox is targeted at the EU-28 residential renewable energy market of €33.6B (2016), which continues to grow rapidly.
